December Decorations

In an effort to go out in the community and create together, we reserved the meeting room at the Henrico Public Library, Gayton Branch! We decided to make ornaments and Christmas cards.

I would’ve been happy with 8 -10 attendees. After all, it was our first public event.

Amazingly, we had 21 people (adults, teens and kids) come and create with us! I’m proud to say that our volunteers did a great job of walking everyone through the process and also giving them creative freedom!

A few photos:

All set up!
Cards and ornaments left to dry while folks looked for books!
Don’t you love the button eyes on this card!?
Cookies & fruit for all to enjoy!
This snowman got a mohawk!!!
